Liberia is the capital and largest city of Guanacaste province, Costa Rica, it is a major center for the country's tourism industry. Liberia has been nicknamed la ciudad blanca (the white city) due to the white gravel that was once used to make the city’s roads and the whitewashed colonial houses which used to make up a large part of the city. It is to 15 minutes from the International Airport Daniel Oduber to the east.

If you come from the Tamarindo zone last an hour and twenty-five minutes.

If they come from some hotel in the Papagayo Gulf they arrive in 45 minutes.

Arriving in Liberia, we will do a tour around the city by vehicle and we will stop in the Municipal Market where you will meet the daily life of citizens, after we will visit the local Museum, the Oldest Church in Liberia and you will be able to take pictures and step by step we will talk about its history, how our city was born and how it has evolved.

The lunch time is in one of the local restaurants where you can choose to eat any of our typical dishes.

After lunch, we will visit one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the area called Llanos del Cortes, which is only to 30 minutes from Liberia to the south , you can swim and enjoy such a nice place and you decide how long you want to be.
